With a background in psychology and brain and cognitive sciences, I am interested in understanding how humans perceive, remember, and interpret the world. During my undergraduate studies at Korea University, I studied human cognition from behavioral and neuroscientific perspectives. My experience conducting behavioral and physiological experiments further motivated me to explore not only how people behave, but also the mechanisms underlying their behavior.

I am currently learning how computational models and artificial intelligence can provide new perspectives on human cognition. I am particularly interested in how people perceive ambiguous, degraded, or incomplete visual information, why perceptual strategies differ across individuals, and whether differences among computational models can help explain these variations in human perception. As I build my foundation in deep learning and computational modeling, I hope to gradually develop research questions that connect human cognition with artificial intelligence.
